William Cooper, M.D.
Dr. William Cooper grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He studied German literature, Russian, and the premedical sciences at the University of Virginia where he received a BA with distinction in 1986. He deferred medical school for one year to travel and work abroad in Germany, France, Austria, Namibia, and Botswana. He returned to medical school at the University of Virginia, where he received his M.D. in 1991.
He then went on to complete his residency in family practice at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1994. He has been a doctor in Colorado since 1995.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Cooper loves to spend time with his wife and children. He also enjoys snow skiing, playing traditional Irish music on the flute, hiking and watching his sons play Lacrosse.
